Franz- GT Kessler Designs is guided by our mission to build lamps that are built with the finest wood and other materials. They are classic and original designs that are crafted to last a lifetime. Lamps are Mission, Arts & Crafts, and Contemporary Designs.

History:

Franz-GT Kessler Designs is a small company that was founded in early 2001 in ST. Paul Minnesota. In 2005 it relocated to  New Ulm, Minnesota. Franz Kessler, a supply chain manager, left the corporate world of Apple Computer. A friend of his, Thomas Moser, helped him and gave him inspiration to start his business.

All early customers were located in the five state area surrounding Minnesota, and lamps were delivered using the sole company van, which traveled from town to town stopping at art galleries, custom furniture stores and a few lighting stores.

During the last few years, Franz – GT Kessler Designs  has lamps in some of the finest shops across the country from New York to San Francisco.

About the Designer:

Growing up in northern Minnesota and Minneapolis, Franz learned much from his father, a master finish carpenter and a perfectionist in his own right. Franz worked in the computer business for 40 years and attended the Minneapolis College of Art and Design. He has been an avid woodworker for over 30 years. Franz believes in learning by doing, using a "hands on" approach inspired by Frank Lloyd Wright and Thomas Moser.

Lifetime Guarantee:

If you are not completely satisfied with any Franz-GT Kessler product, we will refund or replace it within 30 days of purchase. Beyond that, should our Lamps fail at any time during the lifetime of the original owner because of workmanship or material, we will either repair or replace it.
